Valentine's Day DIY Sign
Easy tutorial to make your own Valentine's Day Wooden Love Sign
Wooden Board-Hobby Lobby $5
Wooden Letters-L O V E -Hobby Lobby $10
White Acrylic Paint
Red Glitter-I always use Martha Stewart! It's the best! Michaels carries every color you could imagine!
Rhinestone Trim-This is totally optional but looks so amazing and adds an extra sparkle!
Glue-I used E6000. It is so strong and you only need to use a small amount!
Acrylic Sealer-Also optional, but this ensures you can move this around and keep it looking awesome for years!
Paint your wooden boards and letters. I used white acrylic paint for the board and red for the letters.
Add glitter to your letters. Tip: Do this over a piece of paper so you don't waste any of that precious glitter!
Glue letters to board. I used E6000 glue for this, I think hot glue would also work well.
Spray the whole thing with an Acrylic Sealer. This helps ensure that the glitter won't fall off and the paint will stay looking fresh.
Glue on the rhinestone trim! I used E6000 again for this step. I cut it in half lengthwise for the front area.
Tada you're finished!
Stand back and admire your amazing handiwork! I really love the way this came out I think I am going to use it as in indoor decoration year around!
